S.H.E groups operate a policy of confidentiality. All participants in S.H.E groups are treated with respect and dignity.

S.H.E GROUP PROGRAMME
The S.H.E groups meet on a weekly basis for approximately 2 hours per week. The Programme is outlined below.
Stage 1  - Foundation
Participants meet on a regular basis over a period of 11 weeks. During this time they are able to define and critically explore their personal life story, and to make sense of their experiences, whether positive or negative.  They are also given the skills to detect and to correct errors in their self-perception. These undetected errors are often the source of a negative self-image and the obstacles that prevent many people from recognising and achieving their full potential. The session will include various themes such as self-identity, the nature of abuse, self-talk, brokenness, losses, anger and pain, forgiveness, healing, mental, emotional, and spiritual wholeness.  Participants completing the 11 weeks are able to find new meaning, hope, and a new self-confidence. They are also able to go on to Stage 2.
Stage 2  - Reflecting on Life Experiences

Participants are able to build on their learning experiences from stage 1, and to work towards converting this learning into an Open College Leve1 qualification.  Stage 2 is completed over a period of 6 weeks.  It empowers participants to turn their life story into a powerful learning tool for personal change and future
development. Similar themes as in Stage 1 are explored, however participants are now able to re-construct their life story from a new healthier perspective that enables them to create a positive future.
